I had been reporting various problems with counters, it was no official response from Vodacom rep, see threads:

Wait... I just I received 1.6 Terabytes from Vodacom!!!
Querying SMS to 31050 yesterday morning:
1608MB All Day and 622MB Night OWL
Used 42MB during the day and 13MB last night
Today SMS says that:
I have 1.6TB All Day and 609MB Night OWL!
See attachment. Bravo Vodacom again, Please extend validity for 10 years!!!

Not enough data to download the internet. I would call them get one of their staff to verify that you will not be penalised for using it. Make sure it is recorded. Then use it. Then they can try to bill you but you have recorded proof that you confirmed it was OK. And they can't do anything.

I don't need so much data, so why I should waste bandwith?
All I want is peace of mind, no constant pressure with OOB, so I will take Cell C prepaid deal R999 50+150GB valid for one year with Huawei B315 router. See in Cell C thread.

OOB on the postpaid contract is R1/MB. Night OWL is only available on postpaid. Still it is 1.6 million!
