Well it continues where the series ended so if you did not watch the series it probably won't make much sense :)
Would reading a summary help? BB had a strange pace and tone I just couldn't get with.

Indeed! No Peppa Pig or PJ Masks on Netflix tomorrow. All available bandwidth will be aimed at my viewing pleasure for a change.

Although Dexter did slightly lose the plot at a time I still enjoyed it.

BrBa just went from strength to strength. Not a single negative thing I can say about it.

Also never got into it. Maybe worth a retry.

Thing with Breaking Bad is, the story arch feels like it was planned out from episode one. Plotlines can take multiple seasons to build up before they pay off. But when they do pay off it's spectacular.
