BREAKING | Grade R pupil kidnapped in Cape Town

A Grade R pupil was kidnapped in Kensington, Cape Town on Wednesday morning.

Police spokesperson Colonel Andrè Traut said six suspects fled with the six-year-old in 4th Avenue.

The child has been identified as Shanawaaz Asghar.

They are yet to be arrested.

Traut said they are investigating the circumstances and will not reveal further information at this stage.
