Mashaba is holding a presser in the morning and speculation is he'll resign. The city will go back to the ANC if he does.

Don't see the ANC agreeing to let him stay on as mayor if the EFF agree to back them.

Who knows. I really hope not. Say what you want about the guy, **** works when he is around. Best mayor in South Africa by far.
Amen Brother Hamster, the people want to murder me when I say the guy is a legend, it must be jealous seeing that our city is getting better.

I doubt it, they will probably spin a political view that Zille isn’t a leader within the organisation and that he may step down or out when the IRR does indeed practice leadership within their institution. This will still comply with his ‘promise’ and I see some ANC people are being dicks about it on social media.

It won’t be long when you see pictures of Zille and Mashaba shaking hands and giving each other hugs.

Some people within the DA fired shots from their hips. In fact, the IRR has the best research for their own 'inclusive' policies. It is good having Zille as an insider.

I watched the press conference and could see Mmusi isn't happy with mam'Zille returning. Have times in the DA gotten so desperate, that they have to recycle their leadership? Every year, the DA looks like ANC-Lite... same can be said for the EFF; ANC-v2.

This tannie keeps saying she is going to "stay in her lane"... oh please... give it a few months till she has another episode on Twitter.

Would it be acceptable to have him using his mayoral position to address internal DA politics? It would look very out of order to me if he were to do that and the ANC would be on his case.

If it is indeed about DA politics, it can only be about his resignation and nothing else, last time I checked he had no position within the DA, unless he is a branch leader and would be calling the press briefing in that capacity. The current developments in the DA has nothing to with him as a mayor.

Helen Zille is the reason the DA succeeded they way it did under her control.

Next to Mandela, she is probably the best leader that SA ever had.
Perhaps - once a upon a time. She is a lose cannon now and doesn't have a clue as to what she is doing.

Don't care if Zille is back and all those other racists resign tomorrow or whenever. Fact is, the DA showed that they are a party that cannot be trusted. So, my vote they will never see again.

I think she knows exactly what she is doing. Thats why she's back.

Red pilled.
Na, I have been watching her podcast. She is horribly out to touch with reality and seems to become unhinged. Its sad to watch, she seems hellbent on letting everyone who has ever been against her how wrong they are.

I'm actually more worried that people chose to put her in a position of power.
