A lot of the things you're saying here are just incorrect. She didn't shoot at them, they didn't even claim it was a "drug smuggling den", they claimed an ex-bf of her was sending suspicious packages to the address, which turned out to just be clothes. He didn't even live there, and was already in custody.
They lied on the warrant, and then lied again on the incident report immediately after the shooting. They didn't wear body cameras, they told the ambulance to leave before going in, they didn't announce themselves (they dispute this, but 11 witnesses in the same apartment building said they heard nothing (it was the middle of the night, so it was quiet), while 1 witness said he maybe heard 'something', after saying in two separate interviews he also heard nothing).
Another question is why execute the warrant in the middle of the night without proper protocols in place?
