I want to like Shetland, but the female cops acting just puts me off. Not sure if she's really an idiot or just a bad actress
I think she plays the character well: geeky, shy, never been 'the-girl-everyone-wants-to-date' and she (and her character) knows it. She's also had some horrendous things happen to her in previous series and her fragility is a result of that stuff as well. She does her job well and is Jimmy Perez' loyal sargeant. I like her!

I find Steven Robertson excruciatingly kuk...he is a terrible actor. I cringe everytime he makes an entry and delivers some arbitrary line.

Douglas Henshall is brilliant.

Keeley's not there.
Don't think it is spoiler as the cast for each Season is no secret.

IMO Keeley and Thandie Newton were two of the most memorable characters in LOD. They literally make the show in the seasons that they appeared in. The new "bad guys" cannot compete. Also the story is starting to repeat itself a bit i.e. using the plot twist / element of surprise formula. But, curious so hear other opinions once you guys get started :p
