Ditto, but I eventually ran out of steam around S5 I think. The quality of the skiet skop and donder was even dropping. It had basically become an American series filmed in SA.
May give it another go tho.

Edit: they also went from gratuitous, unnecessary nudity to US style PG-13 garbage. Has this improved?

It hasn't improved. In essence, no nude scenes with the hero bonking the fair maiden.

That's just it. Good action scenes plus gratuitous TnA. Just enough ingredients to make the show watchable. Remove 50% of the formula and what are you left with? (Disclaimer, Season 1 was a proper Brit show and was actually pretty good, in case anyone hasn't seen it - these comments apply to subsequent seasons).

As we said before, it was a mindless Skiet skop and donder show to pass away the time. I don't mind a bit of mindless entertainment, but it's nice to have some hotties to make up for the low quality.

I have to admit I binned the first season after a few minutes into the first episode when they showed bare male arses :)

Since your post I re-downloaded season01 and am thoroughly enjoying it. So thanks for the nudge.
