The storytelling is terrible in the sense of being unbelievable, but I'm watching it to the end... the characters aren't the worst.I deleted it halfway through S01E01...it's really, really bad.
And I normally love this kind of period drama.
LOL, nothing wrong with SDTV when the story is worthwhile.SDTV ... SDTV ... SDTV ..

grip = the rubber angle of the story? The storytelling is terrible in the sense of being unbelievable, but I'm watching it to the end... the characters aren't the worst.
As for the meaning of the term "Singapore grip". Really??? LMAO. The guy should have gone with another title.
Doesn't look as good as 1080p on 4K TV.LOL, nothing wrong with SDTV when the story is worthwhile.
GIven I only watch most stuff once...
It's not Blue Planet...it's a guy with his arm up a cow's twat half the time.Doesn't look as good as 1080p on 4K TV.
Plus if you are only watching it once why not in the best pic that you can![]()
I need to see each blade of grass in that cows poo. It's not Blue Planet...it's a guy with his arm up a cow's twat half the time.
Maybe my eyes are just very forgiving. If there's something I should be seeing that needs to be in 1080p or higher, it's too small to see to start with.Doesn't look as good as 1080p on 4K TV.
Plus if you are only watching it once why not in the best pic that you can![]()
Apparently it's a...grip = the rubber angle of the story?

I doubt that the writers are/were aware of that...
err, that was the title of the book.
And book reviews allude to the meaning of the title... Which had little bearing on the storyline but anyway.err, OK...
The show is so pathetically kak, that I didn't even bother reading up on it so didn't even realize it is based on a book.
The fact that it is the title of the book is not a dead giveaway about the meaning of the title, now is it?
Apparently the book is really good.
Episode 1 is out. This'll be great. I remember it on the news when I was a youngster. Starting next week, 14th Sept.
Dramatisation of the life of Dennis Nilsen, played by David Tennant, of the convicted serial killer and necrophile who killed at least 12 men and boys in the late 70s/early 80s..

Make sure you don't give them Little Birds.I haven't watched "The Singapore Grip" yet, but I have given it to my mother-in-law. She asked what it was about, I said I didn't know.... Should I be worried??? Are there "bedroom toys" in it?![]()
Well, well, thanks for this oneMake sure you don't give them Little Birds.

I'm waiting for all three together...this gon' be good.Yep, grabbed the first episode this morning, looks as great as expected. The next two are broadcast over the next two evenings and I'm not sure whether to watch them one a night or do all three together?
