Broadband in every home from Vodacom

Maybe they should start rolling out some more LTE stations first!

Maybe they should roll out some more cell towers too! I cant even make a phone call / send an SMS from home.

It had better be reasonably priced, low latency and suitable for doing VoD, otherwise it had better not dare come near my home (I would rather wait for FTTC/FTTH).

Sorry to side track here, but at the rate MTN, Vodacom & Cell C are going, non of them will rely on Telkom any more. and at the rate Telkom are loosing land-line customers the future is not looking so bright for DSL services in South Africa, and we will be forced onto LTE @ R2 per MB...

Just a observation.....

Broadband in every home is not saying much. He doesn't talk about usage or cost. More hot air :(

It's not broadband if it isn't priced according to international broadband standards, Vodacom.

Lol, I think the first thought everybody had when they saw the headline was the same!

Wouldn't surprise me to see Vodascum try make it legislation so they can legally charge everyone for access at exorbitant rates! YOU WILL HAVE INTERNET ACCESS!

So national LTE-Ready by March 2014?
:D
I stay in an upmarket suburb and I get 1 bar of phone signal  .... and they want to give us all broadband? Start with the small things, Vodacom...

their aim: is to have broadband access in every home, meaning we want to scew every home as much as possible.

Let my know when they can run fibre from my house.

They have base stations everywhere. Can't be that difficult.

Maybe they should get their coverage sorted out first. Then their tariffs. And THEN perhaps look at LTE. Goddamn Vodacom. Pfft.
