Broadband tariff country scorecard – Q3 2015

We compare the entry level and average monthly tariffs for residential broadband services in 86 countries. The data includes services offered over copper, cable and fibre networks in Q3 2015.

Total and utter bull****. I don't know how they came up with this, but it is misguided.

Besides, SA entry level is 1mbps. That does not even qualify as broadband anymore.

Ok, firstly, what's their entry-level speed? 50mbps, 20mbps, whereas SA's is, what? 1mbps, 2mbps?

Also, the weaker our currency gets, the "better" our prices will compare to the rest of the world. (Assuming they used one currency for all countries.)

Yeah, pretty useless comparisons if we don't know exactly how these numbers/stats were derived.
