Dear BT Games owners,

This error message has just earned you several hundred minus reputation points with the online community. Not only is it your online shop, I'm pretty sure most of your business uses it for the discounts they get rather than buying in your shop.

Either this or you don't really care because the money you make off of online pre-orders or game sales is a drop in the bucket for you, then apologies.

But how about this. Hire REAL developers. I offer you my services @ R325 ex VAT per hour. Your site will never go down as ugly as it has gone down now and I will never embarass your business like that (Because I actually TEST my code thoroughly)

Seen that a couple of times in the past as well - highly embarrassing.

Shame on them for using ASP.

Doesn't really matter what technology they use to do their website in, if you have incompetent programmers, you'll get some form of error nevermind what.

Even wen there online pre order works, they dont phone or sms or email anymore to say the games arrived. I pre oder then pay in store... So they neva see me anymore haha

I order online but pay and pickup in store. They sms me when my copy of total war arrived.

A long time ago I wanted to buy a game online from them, got the VB error. Bought the game from kalahari 2 minutes later.

oh and i have seen some php errors too on other web sites, this is hardly a ASP kind thing

That's why we let our client consultants do the testing, because they train the clients to use our software in a specific way. We very rarely get unknown bug-reports from clients. We usually get them while going through our internal testing cycle.

Ya, I also thought you were pointing out that it uses ASP lol ;)

But errors happen, no matter how good of a programmer you are. But if the same error keeps happening even after it was meant to be fixed... then you can start worrying :)
