Well, my research of the XBox 360 indicated that you can play any of your saved Music Playlists EVEN while playing a game - so you could compromise and let the wife listen while you play. Be interesting to find out how this works ... if anyone tries, let us know
It does work nicely.. But I agree with useless thats its kinda hard to play something with her music blaring in the backround, especially if its an RPG or something and you need to hear what they are saying.
I bought an extra Wireless controller, 1 rechargabe battery and the play and recharge cable (which came with another rechargable battery) and the universal remote, along with 3 games.
Over the weekend, the wife plugged her Ipod into the XBOX, and it plays perfectly. I also tried plugging my Digital camera in at the same time it was able to view all my photo's on the camera while she was playing music. With the universal remote though, she is also able to change songs, tracks, etc without having to go to the dashboard, so you can still play or like I was, messing around with the camera while she was changing music.
We had been planing on building a multimedia PC to use as a HiFi, DVD player etc, then my Wife saw the XBOX and suggest I do that instead.. I couldn't say no.. So far I'm VERY happy its proving to be all that and more
