So, my charger has gone and going through all the working charging bricks in the house and none of them support fast charging. I see original Samsung chargers can go for over R400, I definitely don't want to spend that. All I want is a simple charger that does the basic fast charging, the cheaper the better.

Right now I'm charging my phone is saying it's going to 40 minutes to charge it only 20% more, I can't deal with that, help would be appreciated.

Shoprite ,single outlet big white charger ,probably start your car with it ,runs by the Havic name ,around R130,the dual outlet ones dont seem to be fast charge .but they not C to C,they are mentioned in other threads ,maybe try find them before buying .
5,9 and 12 volt output ,auto regulating

This 25W Volkano charger is what I use as a spare charger (disclaimer: I can't be 100% sure as mine was sourced from FNB eBucks shop [R199, April 2023] but the description matches). The genuine Samsung 25W charger is a bit faster which was 30 minutes to charge a Samsung S23 Plus from 20% to 85% vs the Volkano taking 33 or 34 minutes to do the same.

P.S. no cable included

I got this one from PEP home for R99.
My S24 ultra would not take charge from it so returned it.

This is R113 45W since you said you have the ultra: https://www.takealot.com/45w-super-fast-adapter-charger-with-cable/PLID93156084
Supposedly the old brick, do check once you get that it charges at 45W if you're at 20-40% battery. Very likely this is just 15-25W marked as 45W in listing.

Don't think you will really get 45W for under R400, but hope you find something / listing above is legit.

Just do be careful as you do have quite an expensive phone to test cheap chargers with.

If I am not mistaken one also needs a 5A cable to get 45W charging. The Samsung 5A cable is R300 on its own.
That comes with the phone, but you can buy any type C, doesn't have to be Samsung.
Check this out on takealot: LDNIO PD 65W LED Display Super Fast Charging Desktop Charger
I got one of these for my Ally, but it works for the phone. Though it does drop to fast if you plug in something else that will use fast as well.

That LDNIO is a nifty looking charger.

AFAIK its only 3A cables that come with the Samsung phones, or at least the Plus and base model. I'm not sure about the Ultra.
One needs a 5A cable for Samsung's Superfast charging 2.0, and possibly also the original 45W charger.

Thank you for this info. We are looking to purchase a bunch of fast chargers and this seems like a relatively inexpensive option. Does this charger come with a USB cable included, and if so, is it a fast-charging 5A cable?
(PS. I could not find anything under the description)
We have received quotes for fast chargers for Samsung devices but they are over R500/R600 each.

The two 45W/65W chargers I bought from Takealot for under R150 do not in fact fast charge on the USB A ports. They are standard 5V/2A on all 4 ports and it is SHARED, so if you plug in more devices, the current divides equally.

i haven't tried the USB C port yet for fast charging.

I just bought this- shows as Super Fast Charging through USB-C PD Port on my a33 5G:

  • Hassle-Free Exchanges & Returns for 30 Days.

  • 60-Month Full Warranty.

Does it come with the correct fast charging cable as well or does the cable have to be purchased separately?

Just the brick. 2 ports- bring your own cables.

I had a 100W one with an LCD Watt output display.

It shows 20-22W for my A33, the same as the Std Samsung 25W charger. Phone can only take 25W though I've never seen that cable show the full 25W.

Did you find it in the bin? Also that is 7A max so that would be across all 6 ports, is it a desktop charger or plug in?
What bin ? What are you talking about ?.desktop ,and no the 7 amp are not divided across all ports ,any one port is claimed to give up to 35 watts which it doesnt because the volts drop down so low it wont charge a Samsung ,Sony ,ipad ,iphone ,only good for things like headlamps ,takes overnight to charge an energiser lamp .wasnt worth the money ,like Xiaomi, cheap chinese junk .

No cable included .we use them on a A32,33,35 ,A54,and a S24 ,works on all of them ,the ones we have are the single outlet ,so we use an adapter for the original cables .
