Budget Charging Brick That Supports Samsung Fast Charging

The WINX POWER Ultra 130W Desktop Charger for R999 is a decent option, especially if you also want to charge laptops because it will output 100W. I got one recently to charge a laptop and it works great.

Output Type-C 1 (PD) | 100W: 3.3-21V/5A,5V/3A,9V/3A,12V/3A, 15V/3A,20V/5A
Output Type-C 2 (PD) | 100W: 3.3-21V/5A,5V/3A,9V/3A,12V/3A, 15V/3A,20V/5A

Samsung Super Fast Charging just needs a PD charger that outputs sufficient wattage?

I just bought this- shows as Super Fast Charging through USB-C PD Port on my a33 5G:

  • Hassle-Free Exchanges & Returns for 30 Days.

  • 60-Month Full Warranty.
One thing against this after a few days' use- the dimensions are off. You can't plug two in together or plug it in next to something else in a multiplug. See here- it doesn't lie flat, the brick is at an angle for some reason:

After reading up on this it appears it needs a PD charger with PPS: 3.3-21V at 5A, PPS is basically the spec that the allows connected device to specify the voltage it wants and to work with super fast it needs to be able to supply at up to 5A.

Honestly LDNIO SUCKS. Had soo many of their cables go bust.

Prefer WOPOW

Yep they include if you buy 45watt charger, was in the box of mine
Oh yes, true, I posted about the 5A cable in case people don't realise you only get 1.0 super fast charging without it.

R699 for the official Samsung 45W brick and 5A cable:

Just remember only official samsung charger does 45watt which is super fast charging v2, v1 is 25watt which can be done with most PD chargers
Why only the official charger, the Winx I posted earlier should work fine.
and the 5A cable is needed for that 45W super fast charging 2.0

And likewise this, I have an Anker cable that I use with the Winx charger and it charges my laptop at 60W just fine, shouldn't that be able to do 45w super charging or are Samsung now using proprietary cables with some kind of chip like Apple does and it will block super fast if it doesn't see the chip?

Doesn't super fast charging have a negative effect on the battery long term?
I am babying my S24 Ultra as I want it to last 5 years.

I think it's the latter. My Bluetti EB55 does 100w but my S24U caps at about 24w (with proper cable).

Samsung locks it down, the phone only goes to 45watt with an official one easy money-making scheme.

By that you are referring to the cable but any decent brand of PD charger that can provide 45w should work?

In theory yes, make sure you see "Super fast charging 2.0" when it starts charging :)

How quickly can the Galaxy S23 series officially charge?

Samsung says the Galaxy S23 supports “Super fast charging,” while the Galaxy S23 Plus and the Galaxy S23 Ultra support “Super fast charging 2.0.” This means the vanilla S23 supports only up to 25W fast charging, while the S23 Plus and S23 Ultra can go up to 45W fast charging. Samsung’s charging tech is based on the USB Power Delivery specification, so you can rely on third-party chargers that support the standard.

Yes it should, but I can confirm ugreen 65watt only does 25watt. I have ugreen 65watt and the official samsunf 45watt

I see the brand Volkano also has a few fast chargers at different ratings which are not too badly priced. I personally haven't used the wall charger yet but I do have a Volkano car fast charger which i use often and it does fast charge pretty well.

I have a Xiaomi 65w GAN charger that super charges. When it's on sale it goes for around R500.

I'm surprised no one found a fast charger on Temu that works.

Chargers and cables are two things I would not order from Temu, unless they were branded genuine stuff, apparently US Temu sells genuine Anker and other brands. I've been burnt repeatedly buying chinese no name fast chargers and cables, it’s just a waste of money.

I've got the same one. Love it for both my phone and MacBook
