Budget Charging Brick That Supports Samsung Fast Charging

Doesn't super fast charging have a negative effect on the battery long term?
I am babying my S24 Ultra as I want it to last 5 years.
Also wondering , I am nursing my S22 Ultra for 2 more years.
I went to wireless charge route , one plugged into my office pc , and one at home .
Was thinking how long can the type-c charger last with everyday plug in and out

I wouldn't stress about plugging in and out. I've had multiple USB C devices last 5 years with everyday charging.

You probably right , wireless charging is just so much more convenient

Also don't think wireless charging can be too good for your battery. It gets very hot while charging. I cannot feel any heat on phone when its charging on the cable, but pick you phone up while it is charging on wireless and feel how hot it is. Not when it fully charged. Pick it up when battery was low and you had it on the wireless charger for about 10min.

Lol yet the Apple watch and most Android wear watches you can only wireless charge and it also heats up. People worry about the most stupid crap.
Heat does negatively affect battery health and repeatedly daily heat cycling isn't great

Don't buy budget. I would buy one good Anker brick. For example a 150w Anker 747 which you can't even get in SA and that will cover all your needs. If you want something heavier Anker has a 240W charger, called the 749 which can charge two laptops at the same time. Buy one good charger and keep it for the next 20 years.

You think we'll still be charging laptops with the same technology 20 years down the line?

If you look at the bricks 20 year old laptops use, they're similar but bigger. Yes I think 220V will be at the outlet, and that likely USB-C will stay around a long time or an adapter will be used usb-c to whatever, for pennies, and similar voltages will be used. My point was rather the longetivity this will afford you. Anker has good QC and they use good components. It's a bit expensive for SA. Rather than buy several kuk bricks, buy one good one.

Browsing Takelot saw this on special for R199. And I went for it.

Both ports are able to fast charge and bonus is that I can slow charge my laptop on it when I'm doing light weight tasks, though I wonder if the puny C to C cable that came with my Samsung phone is able to handle the full 30watts.

you can keep ur slowmo charger.
get this, leave it on charge, and super charge your phone when you need to:
