Hey Guys

Been looking for a budget gaming monitor a while now and think I need to take the plunge before December Holidays. Budget is around R 4000 but ideally R 3500. Below the few options I have found. Any recommendations or monitors to avoid? Might also just consider a standard 27" monitor

Samsung c24rg50fqu

Pros- Va Panel, Had good experience with Samsung in teh past
Cons - NO G-Sync, also not sure how I feel about curved monitors

Viewsonic vx2458

Pros- 1s respond time, VA Panels
Cons - NO G-Sync, also not sure how I feel about curved monitors

LG 24LGE24GL

Pros- Cheap (will look for alternative supplier), 1 s response time
Cons - NO G-Sync, TN Panel

Dell S2421HGF

Pros- G-Sync, 1 s response time
Cons - TN Panel, Bulky

Free Sync mostly works with Nvidia as well, I know my Freesync LG works no problem.

That Samsung is R3799 at Woot, and the LG is R3599.

Don't forget to take into account that lots of the online shops need to charge extra shipping for monitors.

Thanks R 2600 seems high for a no name but it has all the specs and decent online reviews. If I can get it for R 2k maybe on black friday it seems like a bargain

Looks really exspensive to me.

Thanks read some good reviews about the checkers monitor but looking for a long term monitor and not sure if the checkers is it.

Currently between the Checkers monitor, Acer Nitro (I know its evetech) and the Asus.

I'm thinking of upgrading from my 23" business monitor to the below. (24" FHD LED 144hz curved viewsonic)
Any opinions, it looks like a decent budget gaming monitor ? I'm just a casual gamer, currently playing Arma3.

Take a look at this one, it's not curved but it's 27" and not badly priced for 144hz
