Ah OK then you don't need anything beefy, sometimes my PC struggles to play 1080p content but any PC should handle 420p fine.

A bit late, but I bought something similar a while ago :

Intel Celeron D E420 1.6ghz
320GB HDD
512MB RAM

Installed in my TV cabinet cupboard and connected to Pinnacle Systems Showcenter 200, which in turn is connected to an LG 42" plasma. The PC is purely my storage and holds 25,000 songs, photos and movies. Also connected to a WAG300N router, Xbox 360 and a another two PC's upstairs. Can also use as a basic PVR system.
