Ironically I used to go to Brights because it was a smaller business who seemed to stock less but more discerning products for better pricing.

Sadly since they’ve grown and setup nee larger premises it seems scaling the business has been its downfall as they’ve simply gone to **** making me opt for Builders and the big corporate instead.
Well Chamberlain stores are the same size or even bigger than Builders. But you will get excellent service and much better prices than at Builders.

its because the delivery charge is from a specific branch, you have to choose the branch closest to you for an applicable delivery cost

I posted about this a while ago actually, mybb should pay me

Bought an 8 amp battery charger for a friend at BEX Kenilworth
No 12 volt output on the clamps
Looked at where the wire joins the battery clamp, the copper portion did not clamp onto the metal, it was attached to the plastic insulation, so can never work
I fixed that
The battery increased from 12.3 to 12.8 overnight
Placing an amp meter on the charger leads showed a current of 2.89A - far lower than the 8A claimed

Took it back to the branch

Lady takes it out the box, looks at all over for 5 mins and says "This has been modified"
I tell her the story, she just walks off

Complain to Grant Koopman, who handles Customer Service

After 3 emails, he will not tell me how to return this under-specced and badly assembled device

Pretty useless

I can just see a dev shrugging and saying “it’s not my fault the customer isn’t selecting his store”. It’s not my code.

Builders online service is garbage... you're lucky if anything actually get delivered without having to make multiple calls and instore visits in an attempt to track down your order... actually, their instore service is just as bad. Go cashbuild or something instead

R20k, they've got to be joking! A drill is parcel sized and surely can't be more than R200 or R300. They could have done a way better job on flagging abnormalities or partnering better for deliveries.

They don’t partner, that’s the problem.

They literally send people out from the store.

Builders don't sell fridges, double door or not.
