Building a gaming PC for R30,000 that will last for years

The recommended PSU for this graphics card is 850W, meaning that at the very least, another PSU needs to be selected.
750w recommended.
That cpu is 88w, the gpu is 304w the other components will probably bring it up another 50w.
I mean my old 5700x3d and 3070ti tops out at 405w with 2 spinning disks, 2 SATA ssd and 1 nvme.
700w is more than enough for this build. But at that price I would've opted for a 750 to 800w the differences aren't that much.

If we buy these does Mybb cover the extended warantee? Especially on that PSU.

The manufacturer recommends an 850W PSU. This is likely to account for peak power spikes that may briefly exceed the graphics card's TGP.

Others have recommended 700w, it's a 304w card.
Some 750w/850w
Especially since he's using a cpu that will maybe hit 88w. It's not like he's slapping in an i7 or i9 that can hit over 200w easily.
That's what a recommended psu is for. It's not for a 7600 and an nvme drive.

Whatever the calculated psu is, get double that

30k for a moderate gaming pc.

Um

This only proves why it makes so much more sense to buy a PS5 Pro and not bother with the cost and hassle of PC gaming and dedicated graphics cards. Of course the RX 9070 would appear more powerful than the PS5 ON PAPER but consider the issue of poor optimisation as we've seen with AC Shadows and how it struggles with constant frame rates even in 1440p, let alone 4K.

After the disappointments of Indiana Jones, Black Ops 6, Starfield and Diablo IV, I just gave up on PC gaming as I don't see the point anymore. I own a mini PC for office work, streaming and for older games and indie titles as an iGPU is all I require and I could not be bothered with the often infuriating experience of a desktop PC anymore.

Since the article hypes up Elder Scrolls VI, I reckon it would be just another Starfield-like experience. I don't really get the appeal of the Elder Scrolls series as I found Oblivion and Skyrim to be dull and tepid gaming experiences. Western RPG's are just not my thing as they take themselves too seriously and while they may be beautiful to behold on the surface, they grow tiresome quickly due to their lacklustre combat and monotonous gameplay. It's too rugby union while I prefer rugby league.

The PS5 gives me the gaming experience I want as I prefer JRPG's and action games and I would rather subscribe to PS Plus than Game Pass and its endless 'woke' slop offerings. PS Plus may be more expensive but it offers much better value for money IMO.

No.

Not sure about that PSU, but otherwise yeah. It'll play for a good while.

That said. If I were to stretch to get up to date with a 9070+ Graphics card this gen, then I'd also want to stretch for a 9800X3D, or at least ballpark. That's as in "want it, because they go together like boeries and rolls", not as in "strictly necessary in all titles, you can technically have your boerie in a tortilla, and have a good time". Not doing it is a bit of a copout, all things considered. The price is not fun though. That's for sure.

But who am I to speak lol? The last time I upgraded my graphics card was to a 1070  And I've been gaming mostly fine. Probably time to change that though. One of these years... Maybe this one. Would love to see what the 5060 and competition does.
