Good for him! I think this is a win-win situation for all three parties concerned. The Lions need depth at no 10 since Earl Rose was a huge dissapointment and they didn't renew his contract and for him, he will be getting a lot more game time!

For the Bulls because this will allow them to get their talent through the system!

Potgeiter is also leaving Free State and returning to the Bulls, so the bulls have alot of flyhalves, i guess they can afford to let him go.

I agree. Francis wants game time and with Morne Steyn as pivot that won't happen.
All the best to him. We won't be worse off without him, whereas the Lions may in fact be better off with him.

He will join up with the Johannesburg based team on November 1, but he will be in the Blue Bulls' Currie Cup squad until the end of the month.

That's way too late! Surely the Bulls could have agreed an earlier transfer ... like for this weekend's game?

Earl Rose cannot be relied on and we really need the LIONS to thump WP and do the SHARKS a huge favour! :D
