They be the same Muslims who go gambling at Grand West Casino and Gold Reef City Casino?
Lol this has been my personal experience with muslims, again it is limited and not representative of all, but like most relgions they were hypocrites.

I think I might be a fussy eater but I don't enjoy Burger King. It tastes too processed from the "meat, to the quality of cheese & overall taste.

It tastes more processed than Mc Donalds & I hate Mc Donalds.

I prefer the fast food outlets that use real meat i.e Nandos, Barcelos, even Kfc uses real chicken vs BK & McDs.
Wait....wait...wait.

You volunteer to go to the Spur, but take issue with these franchises?

Nee fok man.

Well if you think about, it's ironic for Muslims who do support BK as Grande Parade Investment own a few casinos, especially if they don't gamble.

My friends wanted to go to Spur. I agreed but didn't enjoy the experience.

Spur isn't my favourite but even their "quality" of food seems to be better than Burger King.

Yup Burger King are going to be introducing bacon pretty soon. They will be leaving some stores as Halal and some will be converted to non-halal and will be serving bacon.

They have been looking into this for quite a while. The demand for bacon is quite significant and obviously has financial benefits for them.

It makes sense to have different stores for different areas.

Just like Debonairs.

How reliably is this information? if its true they would make a killing in some areas.

We know that 44 stores will lose Halaal certification on 1 September, 52 will continue to be certified. Bacon is the obvious guess as to why.

100% of KZN stores will remain Halaal certified.

Unless you in Durban , check the closest halaal list and work Backwards?
I said the ones closest

Olivedale is the "closest bacon zone" but still

Fourways mall
Sandton city
Mall of Africa
Kyalami
Rosebank
Rivonia

Sheesh I mean how did they decide that these should all stay bacon-free - surely they should be evenly spread?

Honestly Probably nothing (or not really much) to do with area but more to do with Franchisee choice , a non muslim Franchisee will more often then not go the non halaal route (unless he or she is in an area where they deem muslim customer majority is profitable) - A muslim franchisee would not go that route.

1 is better then none though , and when stores change owners the option will be there for it to change as well.

Yeah the hypocrisy is strong with this.
Muslims need for there to be a propagation and expansion of halaal establishments in order to support the generally held belief that Islam is the fastest growing religion.
This change challenges this belief, hence the outrage of FB.

Soon the snowflakes will call this Islamophobia.

Be rest assured that if sales increase there'll be a larger migration.

I will never go there again. Went to get my usual crispy chicken burger and the patty was absolutely crap, soggy and not crispy at all. Unless they changed it to normal crappy chicken patty. I also paid for a crispy and it was marked as that too.
