Burger King South Africa saw its revenue for the year ended June 2021 grow to R1.349 billion compared to R1.010 billion in the prior year, its licence owner, Grand Parade Investments, said on Thursday

Halal ones will be in higher traffic areas, popular malls and frequented areas. I suspect those have more foot traffic so will show higher turnovers.

Thats what I'd love to actually see a breakdown of.

TBH in the Halal capital of SA (at least in my opinion), KZN.. many BKs have actually folded because I personally think they massively misread the market demand for pig flesh.

I used to be back in the 90s when I had a concrete mixer for a stomach

I know of 2 BKs in very busy malls that folded quite quickly after launching... their footprint in KZN is very very limited actually.

Interesting if true or backed up by financials. I’ll be surprised if it were just for the bacon. Was there other products sold other than just bacon?
As far as I know the products were all still halal just the bacon that was added.
