Burger King South Africa financials revealed ahead of disposal

I am not a big fan of junk food.
I used to be back in the 90s when I had a concrete mixer for a stomach
But years of bodily abuse has taught me to look after myself now and the only kak I eat would be my daily braais
time to get the Truck in gear, and try a Whopper, and if you enjoy Spicy food, a Fierce Whopper
these even an app with coupons, but not anymore the coins you used to get,

Never tried their food before
You haven't missed much. Try comparing a Rocomamas burger to a Burger King burger, chalk and cheese...

Although the Burger King's chips and shakes are pretty good to be fair, just not their burgers

I had a Rocomamas burger once a few years ago and it was delicious, or it just tasted delicious because the lovely Candy served it. I miss her

Interesting if true or backed up by financials. I’ll be surprised if it were just for the bacon. Was there other products sold other than just bacon?
As far as I know the products were all still halal just the bacon that was added.

No idea,

I know that for me a burger is not a burger without bacon.
Same for most of my non Muslim friends and of course my family.

On a side note, first time I had burger king was in China, I loved it and was quite disappointed when I realised that Burger King SA went the same route as KFC SA and cut out the best part of any burger.

On the other hand, I am very glad that there are eating options available for almost every diet in just about every part of our country :)

I know the one in wonderpark went from ghost town to bulls rugby match busy when they added bacon.
Wow, A Burger King that succeeds when it runs like a proper Burger King that the franchise empire was built on...

Lol. Its like these Halaal Spur's.... Sorry no beer and no bacon on your burger. But you can have some fakon and a coke.

Cooldrink?
So no beer then?
Nope, but if in-store it used to be have as much soft drink as you like, it's the Pepsi side though, so 7up, Mountain Dew, etc., and then you have drive through/takeaway.

If proper sit-down with beer, then you want to do something like Jerry's.

Gross, I can't drink that stuff neat
But I could take some brandy with for the pepsi
Or vodka for the 7up and mountain dew
That works
Thank You

BK has improved since their launch IMO. Their Whoppers are no longer as bland as they were, but the best thing on their menu right now is the spicy crispy chicken burger.

A restaurant stops being halal the moment pork enters the premises.

Idk why burger king thinks burgers are likely to be eaten by Indians.

Meant that the burger patties are still 100% halal beef and not mixed with pork.

It’s not just Indians, a number of different types of people that don’t eat pork, eat or choose halal places to eat coz there’s no pork anywhere in the food.

Pork is pretty lean, it is almost like chicken.
