TFG Infotec is a dynamic, well-established Information and Communication Technology (ICT) organisation dedicated to the development and implementation of world-class IT systems and infrastructure for TFG (The Foschini Group).
The HR Systems team within TFG Infotec has a vacancy available for an assertive and independent Business Analyst. The candidate will play an intermediary role between the development team and the business in gathering, understanding and documenting business processes and systems requirements and ensuring that systems that are delivered meet business expectations.
Key performance areas:
Build in-depth knowledge of the various systems maintained by the team.
Provide guidance to the business as required in order to determine optimal solutions.
Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
Document and analyse existing ‘AS-IS’ and develop ‘TO-BE’ business processes.
Elicit, understand and document business and user requirements.
Evaluation and critical analysis of information.
Produce functional specification documentation including flowcharts, use cases, wireframes and any other diagrams required to clarify business understanding.
Review QA test cases and perform a level of functional testing.
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing sessions.
Ensure that project scope is managed and deadlines met.
You should have:
A relevant tertiary qualification
Minimum of 2 year’s relevant experience
Innovative, critical thinking and problem solving skills
The ability to work independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment
The ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
Good communication and organisational skills with a strong ability to influence, build relationships with, and negotiate with colleagues, suppliers and external partners
Good attention to detail and levels of accuracy
Excellent customer service orientation
