Six month contract position available for an intermediate Business Analyst within an accredited payments solution company who work with high level clients throughout South Africa. The role provides you with an opportunity to assist the product team in designing and developing business requirements for products and customer solutions.

R250 - R300 per hour - max R50 000 per month

Minimum Requirements:
  • Relevant Degree
  • +5 years experience as a Business Analyst
Analysis and Design
  • Complete complex research, analysis and design
  • Analyzing the business objectives of the particular product domain, and developing appropriate solutions.

  • Facilitate requirements, analyst and design workshops
  • Map processes
  • Workshop minute taking
  • Develop risk and controls and measures
  • Do gap analysis
  • Translating business requirements to functional requirements for the delivery team
  • Translating functional requirements into User Apps
  • Managing the quality of delivery by ensuring that the delivered functionality meets the requirements and that the testing has been completed satisfactorily
  • Managing the issue log and overseeing the successful escalation and assignment of issues related to business requirements delivery
  • Status reporting to the internal product owner and steering committees when required
  • Managing multiple assignments and deliverables at the same time across multiple customers
  • Writing functional specs
  • Preparation of use cases and prototype mock-ups for new services and enhancements
  • Liaising with external or internal clients
  • Assist Product Manager with development of features, enhancements and roadmaps
  • Complete modelling, including financial modelling
  • Write end user and other documents
  • Develop documentation templates and standards
  • Review end user and other documents
  • Develop stakeholder strategy and plan
  • Initiate stakeholder analysis
  • Working closely with the stakeholders to examine existing and create new business products
