Business Solutions Executive
Bryanston, Johannesburg Metro, Gauteng
R25k - 28.2k per month + Medical Aid contribution; Pension Fund
Our client is currently on the look-out for a Senior Business Solutions Executive to be based at their offices in Bryanston (Gauteng).
The Senior Business Solutions Executive is responsible for business development, sales & key account management in the Africa region for the product range.
Experience & education:
* 5+ years sales experience (preferably with similar products to mining customers)
* University degree (preferably in a mining related discipline)
Requirements:
* IT & mining knowledge
* Proven ability to liaise with & build strong relationships with clients & internal stakeholders
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes
* High level of organization & self-motivation
* Willingness to work flexible & sometimes extended hours, including varying degrees of travel in order to meet targets & deliver exceptional client value
* Proven ability to be able to identify potential clients & build significant sales pipeline, including cold-calling where required
* Ability to recognize client requirements & provide value propositions to address them
Responsibilities:
Sales
* Present & sell the products together with attendant services including training, product support, implementation and maintenance to current & potential clients in the African market
* Identify potential customers & contact key personnel to arrange product demonstrations, quotes & other sales-related tasks
* Communicate with other personnel to seek support required to close opportunities
* Participate and lead in marketing events such as trade shows, seminars and product launches as & when required
* Follow up and re-allocate leads & referrals resulting from marketing and/or field activities
* Prepare presentations, proposals & sales contracts
* Increase revenue through product cross selling and managed service agreements
Account Management
* Liaise with existing clients to ensure their needs are being met
* Identify opportunities to provide additional products &/or training & support services to existing clients
* Liaise with services personnel to ensure satisfactory product delivery & training
* Participate in product training
Key Account Management
* Identify key accounts and implement account management procedures to increase revenue
* Act as first point of contact for key client projects. Receive and answer calls from clients and client service units
* Develop an intimate understanding of key client business processes, needs and buying motivations
* Develop relationships with loyal clients and increase satisfaction. Obtain regular feedback and pass this on to management / marketing / development teams
* Conduct reviews on accounts on a regular basis to evaluate client demand and usage of products and services
Administration
* Maintain client, lead & opportunity data in the CRM database system
* Prepare & maintain status reports including activity, closings & follow-ups
* Establish relationships with key product stakeholders including product development, product management & marketing
* Communicate new product & service opportunities, special developments, client information & feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate staff
* Prepare action & business plans & schedules to identify potential clients & sales strategies
