Court time does not form part of a cost order in litigation.

It is not a cost order.

If you want to bring any court matter, other than a criminal matter, there is a fee you need to pay before the matter goes on the roll. This fee varies. The winning party can ask a cost order afterwards, but the one who brings the case needs to pay this before the court will even look at the case.

No nice way to say it, but you have no clue what you are talking about. You don't pay for the court's resources in civil litigation. That is covered by the DOJ.

Probably the court fees and all legal fees as well.

Bringing such court application at the Concourt, depending on the case, could cost you a simple court fee of R100,000 and upwards, excluding your own legal fees for your attorneys and advocates. Some cases the court could require a fee of R1m and upwards. It all depends on the application, how many judges will be required, how long they expect the matter to last, etc.
Are you telling us the courts are reserved for the wealthy?

Nah, it's free and open to all. Have you not seen all those long queues at the High Court, Supreme Court of Appeals and the Constitutional Courts? Those rolls are full. Tens of thousands of cases every day. Poor judges don't get any rest.

But where does the R100k+ figure you quoted come in?

So my last two cases should have been free and I paid all that money for no reason?
