BS. New M3 is definitely for elite and yes the GTR will smoke a Porsche 911.

Shocking but true.

Numbers and paper values are lovely but the GTR is also considered a little boring for being too good at what it does.

A 911 or Cayman might be the more engaging drive.

How often do you really dice other people or even care how you compare to them? I certainly don't. It's not as if I built the car myself and have a personal investment in it so its really just about who threw money at what at the end of the day.

It's all about what I find engaging and passionate about. Which is why I would buy a Lambo over an R8 even if they were 99% the same.

The A45 has Swag, the GTR has class.

Now it will be easy to choose.

What are you talking about? That's one of it's best angles.

I got to drive in an A45 last year and wow. Everything from the performance to the luxury makes your jaw drop. And the way the engine barks. Wow.

Luxury is a function of wallet .... I would go for the GT-R and then regret it later I suppose ...

I don't think WaxLyrical knows what he's talking about anyway :/

Whatever or he could just wait till next year for the new model.

You realize Porsche have a new model too?

I don't think the GTR has beat the equivalent Porsche in years.

Value wise - they're awesome! Performance wise? They're cute ...

@OP

Have you considered a 1991 COTY edition Opel Mona 1.6GSi?

I know the outlay is more expensive initially, but just remember that it can literally drive from jhb to CT and back, with the aircon on.

I don't think most know what class is. Very few people can appreciate the 1991 COTY. :D
