Buying a high mileage diesel - Advice please

Maybe for turbo diesels but not unturboed (is that a word? ) diesels.

If a car doesn't have a turbocharger it is said to be naturally aspirated.

Diesels, turbo diesels, take more strain. even Car magazine said that. But they are naturally more robust engines by design and build - because they have to be.
