I have had trouble in the past with my FNB Cheque Card but that was a glitch on their side which they fixed. there is however a R1 minimum but i don't expect you would of found such an app.

WHo do you bank with, its possible they have not authorized or do not recognize google wallet as they have only recently changed over from google checkout, quite possible that they just have not updated yet.

The amounts are small so if this is your first time then its most likely just fraud prevention, they tend to flag things under about $3, when i first got my ABSA card they froze it when i tried to verify with paypal cuz of the $2 charge. Had to call teh fraud department and confirm that i myself had actually processed that transaction and they let it through and defrosted the card.

I did have a R7.32 purchase blocked the other day as they suspected card fraud, they blocked my card had to phone them to get the block removed. Google cancelled the transaction as well. So lots of hassles for R7.00

That it is, but at the end of the day they don't do it every time, normally only the first time as the small amounts are what thieves use to test if a card and its details are legit so they can steel your cash.

Thats exactly what happened to me. The fraud department called me and said that the card was blocked and that it was an error on Google's side.

Glad I found an answer. Thanks for the info.

Of course you can, cheque card is the smart mans credit card. It allows you the privilege of spending your own money instead of the banks... LOL

I went wild when there was that $0.10 offer and the apps came in at about R0.80. And I have a FNB credit card linked to my Google account.

Oh and an FNB Cheque Card is almost identical to a credit card if you have an overdraft.
