I can see the problem with buying data bundles has been resolved. However the MTN data people seem to have left my SIM in a mess. Despite asking the guy to fix it and getting promises of just a 2 hour wait - still not working.
Rather than waste further time I have bought another fresh SIM and increased the phantom user-base in the process.
