Cable management - new office area

I'm building a new office area at home. More or less square, open plan, with 5 work stations (desks) along the wall.. Each desk will have a laptop and VOIP phone. So I need power for laptop and lan cable for the phone. Internet access will be via wifi.

I like it neat, and want to minimise visible cables.

Any best practices or ideas.

I was thinking either a power point and lan point at each desk, or power skirting. Both options however, has the same problem of cables between lan/power point and laptop/phone on desk dangling against wall. The desks are "open" to all 4 sides.

Any better ideas?

Get wifi deskphones or DECT VoIP cordless phones, then there is no network cables

Don't you get desks where cables run inside the legs and along a closed trough at the back?
