Tests done by Broadband Choices, a UK website which helps consumers compare broadband services, reveal that cable connections are outperforming ADSL in the speed stakes.
Well we don't have cable (yet), ICASA have licensed a cable TV provider as part of the 5 new entrants right? If so, I hope they'll be offering cable internet as well.

Cable networks are made of either fibre or copper (coaxial). This study simply states that people purchasing internet connections from cable providers are getting what they pay for and those purchasing from ADSL service providers are not. It has nothing to do with the technology involved (although cable networks may be capable of higher throughput).
