We first reported late last year on Swedish electric motorcycle manufacturer CAKE’s ambitious plan to deliver solar-charging electric motorcycles to Africa to combat poachers.

Now the company is unveiling the new bikes, known as the CAKE Kalk AP, for anti-poaching operations.

The bikes are built on the existing CAKE Kalk platform, which has long been a favorite in the premium electric dirt bike industry.

The newly unveiled CAKE Kalk AP will play a key role in CAKE’s recently launched initiative, the Electric Bush Bike Anti-Poaching Act, designed to assist organizations in Africa combat poachers who target critically endangered species.

The new bikes were developed in concert with the Southern African Wildlife College (SAWC) to ensure they could meet the needs of the rangers patrolling the harsh and remote areas targeted by poachers.

I like the look of the bikes and I like that a company has done so much to help.

And in honour of the best name for a company ever, I think they should name each bike: chocolate, vanilla, devil's food...

Whats nice about these are they would be totally silent compared to regular offroad bikes.
