Call Alaska for 99c, thanks to ASA complaint

MTN said that an internal system error had occurred which excluded Alaska from the 99c rate and resulted in customers being charged R2.49.

Oh yes! Blame the system.

Maybe the Russians want Alaska back. And MTN knows something about this.

Does MTN have a hotline to Putin ?

Have a very distant relative living in Anchorage. What a dump. No trees, awful buildings, no life at all unless you like to drink. The scenery thereabouts is stunning though. When I was there, there were also plenty of mosquitoes

Yes, but you can eat mooseburgers :D

And see Russia, if you live in the right place :D

Those prices are cheaper than what MTN was charging previously. However if someone makes lots of international call they should look at getting this http://www.hellomobile.co.za/rates.
Telkom mobile charges for the first minute and billing starts since starts ringing (no answer). MTN charges per second from the first second. If you make lots of international calls it will affect your bill significantly.

About your link: I didn't look at details, but calls to mobile phones to the most of European countries are charged much more than MTN does, as MTN offers flat rate (the same for mobile) 99c/pm
