Its been 13 days since the last post here, has Activision fixed the issue or is it just an S.A issue of nobody being interested? I think the latter is true, because the game is 800 fricken rand, f'en insane. I'm contemplating buying it, but R800 is a huge investment to play a game for 5 months and then have nobody to play with anymore.

People are definitely still interested if you look at all the complaints online. I haven't been able to join any blackout matches since the... blackout (on PC), but there were a few reports last night (in this reddit thread and this twitter thread) that the servers briefly came back to life, only to go down again.

Well...at least Treyarch has provided an update for South African and South American players.

Finally, a note to our players experiencing low server populations in certain areas of the world, particularly South America and South Africa. Earlier this week, we rolled out an update to ensure Blackout matches always start up in these regions despite server population, and we're constantly working to improve the online experience. We’ve also been rolling out network updates over the past two weeks to improve server performance around the globe. If you’re still experiencing problems with getting into a Blackout match in your region, let us know in the comments below. We’re always listening and working behind the scenes to make sure everyone in the Black Ops 4 community can have the best experience possible, regardless of where they live.

Still don't like the fact that they keep referencing our low server population as the reason for the matchmaking problems we're experiencing. Sure we have a tiny player count compared to other countries, but the fact that we were easily able to play Quad games before the update on Oct 23rd, surely means it is something that is either broken on their side or related to the local ISP managing the servers.

If you're still having issues, please post about it in that reddit thread.
