Calling the Telkom Mobile Rep

Yesterday ( Sunday ) my Telkom LTE was running at 30 -32 Mb download 7-8 upload (checked in the morning and the evening )
Today ( Monday ) it is running at 2.5 - 3.2 Mb download and upload 5-6

This has been the story since last week.
Clearly Monday is back to work day and the capacity on the tower becomes exhausted. ( nothing has changed on my side )

Perhaps the problem is ME ?

Unfortunately I am not able to interrogate the tower equipment to see what the traffic is like and what causes the huge drop in throughput ?
It also appears that Telkom cannot / will not provide this detailed info ?

WHAT is the point of signing up for a 24 month contract when the Telkom LTE speeds are little better than slow ADSL ?
( and the charges for data are FAR more expensive )
IF anyone from Telkom Mobile can explain what is going on and what the solution is ?
I am quite happy to sit down and eat humble pie.

Ok just to clear some things up. its not congestion from the tower / capacity exhausted.
they are throttling people for no reason I have tests since feb have put in a complaint at icasa
have more than enough proof to get a really strong case going. will pm the details later.

The Toothless ICASA -- ISPA better perhaps ?

That's really interesting. I thought my poor speeds at night were due to congestion. Have you had any feedback from ICASA?
