Goodbye to another classic sa brand. Im sure that many mybb members will recall the caltex bunny also.

LOL, in Cape Town many older people still refer to the Caltex Refinery in Milnerton, long after it was taken over by Chevron...

JOHANNESBURG — After it lost its Optimum Coal Mine to the Guptas amid controversial political pressure, Glencore seems to be eyeing other assets in the South African market. Cape Messenger editor Donwald Pressly has reported that Glencore is looking to more than match a deal an offer by China’s Sinopec to buy a 75% of Chevron South Africa. I only fill at Econo Petroleum now with the Diesel (drive it 98% of the time) BMW I will probably fill once a year and the Sasol is closest :p
