Calvin Collett resigns from Supersonic - new MD announced

I'm sorry but the only reason Supersonic's business grew is because of their exclusivity agreements with security estates, not because Calvin did his job well.

Check all the threads on the forum about Supersonic as well as their social media feed, and you will get a clearer picture of their level of service.

and acquisitions.

What's with this trend of calling people by their last name? It doesn't sound so good in this case.

Well if you want to grow, how a about not costing double everyone else?

Pricing isn't their biggest problem
Their service & network is absolutely f#$ing pathetic
Their support is non existent

They need to replace everyone, not just the MD

If they cut their prices, they might grow, but so will hellopeter.com

And getting out of a Supersonic subscription is harder than getting away from Telkom, so be very careful when dealing with this company

They're like the Eskom of ISPs, complete with daily internet shedding

Calvin Collett has presided over this garbage fire of a company/division of MTN for long enough. He has truly built a 1-star customer service company.

As a customer of MTN's fibre network since before it was incorporated into the company Supersonic, I can only say that customers have seen a notable and consistent decline under his reign. Of course this is not the story their marketing machine would have you believe. It could hardly go any lower from a service perspective and is one of the lowest ranked ISPs on user voted platforms such as Hello Peter (1.2 stars) and Google Business (1.4 stars).

I can't imagine the task this incoming MD is going to face to turn this around. Time will tell.
