Can anyone confirm? How true is this?

I heard from a friend of a friend of a friend, that there is a way to get around the port prioritisation and the 3GB cap. Apparently with some sort of hack or crack or something. Can anyone confirm this?

If this is possible, why isn't EVERYONE just using this hack?

If there is a hack out there, I'll sign up for ADSL right away.
