I want to increase my general knowledge with regards to Mikrotik and RouterOS.
I'm planning on doing a couple of online courses and some YouTube videos as guides.
I'm using a Wisp(Herotel/IGen) for my internet at home and would prefer not to touch the setup unnecessary at this stage.
Can I use a second Mikrotik and connect a Desktop Huawei B535 Pro LTE router with a MTN Sim it via LAN cable?
Will that give me similar experience as if I'm connecting to a PPoE connection from another ISP and do various setups on the Mikrotik? So the B535 is only there to provide the internet connection via ethernet. I do not want to use the wireless functions, etc. Obviously it is a wireless LTE router, so it will connect to the tower via the sim card. .
The reason I'm asking this, is that I stil need to buy a 2nd Mikrotik router. Thinking of buying one of those R450 models. It is not very strong, but it does have wireless unlike my current R760iGS and like I said, it is only for training purposes.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
