Hi

I'm on an anytime contract, I need to purchase a data bundle, so that I don't get charged R2/Mb, what is the quickest way to do this?

I don't want to stand in a queue at an MTN store for an hour just to get data.

Thanks

I'm with Absa so I don't know if you can do this at other banks but, I purchase airtime from the the ATM then I use *141*2# to purchase data bundles.

Alternatively you can also purchase airtime at Pick 'n Pay, Checkers, Shoprite etc. Most shops/supermarkets sells airtime, so will have no problem buying airtime.

On that contract you would have to bolt on a bundle, by calling 808.

Careful of the OOB shark after that as it won't cut off...

Add the bolt on data bundle on you contract via the mtn webpage. Data is loaded within 2 min and this method also qualify you for the data promotion that gives you extra data.

The price is just added to your bill that will be debited end of the month... :)

I need it on my phone

Rather get the recurring one that one will allow for the promotion and is way cheaper than that one you showed in the picture..... Not sure why the pricing is so bad on that 1 but 1GB should be R149 and it comes with 500mb free.

Yes you can also get afrihost mobile and just use afrihost apn so you do not need a new sim or contract. Can work out very cheaper..... Just choose the apn option when signing up for afrihost.

That is by far the best option out there even beating MTN's own pricing so I would rather recommend that.

That option works too but is limited to open line customers.... If you have a top up contract you need to buy airtime to use that option. If you wanted to add it to your bill at the end of the month you need to use the website or call 808
