Can I re-route/adjust my Telkom line?

To clarify I don't mean outside on the poles.

But where the line comes into the house, basically we have 2 telephones and I wanna install a "whole house" splitter (something like http://www.hometech.com/hts/products/phone_data/filters/su-649a1.html ) and then have a separate line for the modem.

I'm perfectly capable of doing this so not asking about that. I'm just wondering if Telkom would get pissed off with me if I did that?
Any ideas?

Done mine twice.

Telkom don't seem to have problem with it (well, they've never commented on it) but I'd imagine they wouldn't be happy if the DIY wasn't up to scratch.

I moved my 4 lines, Telkom did such a poor job installing them.

The line is also a bit messy the way it comes in so I'll fix that up at the same time.
