Sign up with GoogleHI all, couldn't find a thread about this yet so here it goes. I have a mtn cell number that was used for years and years but was left in active for a few months recently (travel). MTN, seeing the sim as inactive killed the phone number so that when calling now it states that this number is not available on the network. I was wondering if there is a way for me to get that cell phone number re-activated again? I was thinking that perhaps one would need to purchase a new sim card and ask at a MTN shop to try and load the old number on the new sim? Does anyone have some experience in this they could share or could point me in the right direction where I could find out.

Can I reclaim my previous cell number on MTN?

Not possible unless it's a contract sim, as far as I know
