Can I use 1 ISP account for 2 ADSL conn.?

I have done a (quick) search in the forums, but cannot determine for sure.

If I have ADSL at home (connection), and ADSL at work (connection), can I share my ISP (will probably be Telkom self (Prolog)) between them?

They will obviously not be connected simul., but at work (store) during day, and at night at home. Or must I get 2 accounts, one for each connection. (Not taking cap limit into account at all.)

Has anybody done it yet?

I haven't tried it in the past 3 months, but I have been signed on simultaneously on two ADSL lines with one prolog account, for up to two weeks with no problems, in the past.

Just try it, the account is not tied to the line at all.

Yep you can. My brother and I (different homes, each with an ADSL line) have 3 ADSL accounts between us. We nail the first one simultaneously, and then use it exclusively for local surfing and gaming afterwards. We also share our other two accounts, just in case... and haven't had a problem with running out of cap yet.

To answer your question though - you can share one ISP/account for two lines.
