From the Telkom site: http://www.telkom.co.za/sites/business/smme/smme_product_detail/&productname=D-Link%20DSL-2750U%20Router

Product overview

The DSL-2750U is a highly integrated ADSL2/2+ Internet Access Device. It provides ADSL connectivity, optional 3G connectivity via USB port and optional 3G dongle, Ethernet LAN and Wireless LAN services. The wireless LAN complies with the IEEE802.11b/g/n standards and supports 2T2R up to 300Mbps.

Is this really answering the OP's question though? Was he not asking if the router can handle 10mb ADSL. The highlighted spec is of the router's wireless capabilities.

Yes, it can. I have that model and it handles 10mbps just fine.

However… according to the image in this post - http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...ailability?p=15034026&viewfull=1#post15034026 - your exchange cannot provide you with 10mbps so it's a moot point.

This answers it...

Thanx. I saw new cables being pulled and work on the exchange around the corner from my house. Stopped and spoke to the teccie. He claims they are upgrading to 40mb in my area. Next Tuesday the changes are made. We will not have ADSL for 12 hours...I hope all is well and works again afterwards.
