can only access telkom website?

Im using cybersmart as my isp, my pc won't connect to any other website except the www.telkom.co.za
ive contacted telkom, they say the problem is with cybersmart, ive contacted cybersmart, they say they don't see a problem. ive tried the router (with my username and password) on another line, and it works fine, i've tried it on 3 different pc's with my line and it doesnt work.
my adsl is active, ive been using it now since august.
im not capped, so what could be the problem?

mas: can you still ping other websites? Start -> Run -> "cmd" -> 'Enter' -> ping www.myadsl.co.za / ping www.cnn.com (try local and intl.).

Hmmm... What sort of router are you using? Have you checked that you are not using the guest telkom login? Try pinging bbc.co.uk (I think you can do this from a guest account - although I could be wrong).

Have you tried another account on your router & line?

Thats all I can think of now.

My first thought would have been self-installation thats not activated but you say you've been using the adsl line for a while(worth rechecking just incase). uhm else perhaps check that you are actually making the connection with your new cybersmart username and not the defualt Guest username(could be that the router reset back to default settings). Only 2 things that i could think of immediatly.

using a netgear router.
nope couldnt ping any other site. and this is a new problem. started wednesday.
well, its sorted out now, the netgear router's basic settings, i changed idle timeout to 1 min, and it worked. thats what telkom's technician on 0800375375
told me to do. i think i know the telkom website in my head ryt now.
