Hello good people...Can someone suggest a better deal for me, I've been on Vodacom myGig2 for about 5 years & it really sucks. I hate everything about it, the out-of-bundle rates are so insane, I really can't take it anymore

Give AXXESS a try. Afrihost and Axxess both have prepaid, much better control on data and top is easy.

+1, been with MTN prepaid and AH data for more than a year now.

-1. One does not simply recommend CellC.

+1 for Cell C. Giga 100 prepaid is the best package. R999 valid for one year. Use it in few days if you want.

Sure, if B_Jive lives and works in a Telkom LTE coverage area and can get the special (is Telkom lying about the first 1000 customers part?) it's great deal.

Thanx to all of you for responding,I think I'm gonna take the cell c 100 gig for R999. I'll just have to be careful not to finish it quick. I hope network coverage won't be a problem.

I've seen this deal mentioned a few times, but can find no such thing on Cell C's website. Only this, which is nowhere near it:

Yes, it is. However when you go to the Cell C shop, you get a SIM pack on special price @R999.

Why don't you look at the deals from Telkom mobile, their coverage is excellent and they have many great deals to choose from.

Problem with Telkom - OK, one of the problems with Telkom - is the contracts. Tying yourself into a contract with a provider that is at best unreliable with dodgy customer care is looking for problems.
