Hello
A person in my complex has agreed to become a trustee however I believe his mother is the name on the lease so does that exclude him?.His 39 years of age if that matters at all.
My guess it would but hoping to be proved wrong.
Thank you

Yes, as long as the majority of trustees on the board are owners or spouses of owners, anyone legally nominated and elected may be a trustee..

Get a hobby please, anything other than trying to arrange a coup in your complex...
That seems a mean thing to say?.
I have been asked by some very despondent folk on the brink of hopelessness to try help and that is what I am going to do ignorant though I be . i had a very time consuming hobby(passion) before and shall return to it after. Just a few more days to go.

For the son of a renter to be a trustee ,all they need is a proxy from the owner of that unit then there should be no legal problems
