Cancellation of Cell C contract

Calling Cell C's retention department is most frustrating!
When one calls 084 140 and gets through to an operator they try to put you through to the retention department but the line is dropped everytime and one has to start all over again. (This happened 3 times today) Then if one calls 084 143 (ostesibly the retention department) and selects option 2 it rings for so long that even Cell C gets sick and tired of their own music and it cuts out leaving one to call again!
All I want to do is to cancel the contract and pay up the amount outstanding so that I can go onto pre-paid - Please help me!!!!!!!

This is ridiculous and I'm going to be charged for each day that passes!
 
Get in the damn Q ! Been waiting since January and still paying after 37 calls from them promising it will end one day.......

Holding thumbs....if it goes OK I will laugh off the cash I paid for the sim card which went straight into shop petty cash without a reciept....

I am sitting in same boat. I upgraded via cell c direct got the phone new Samsung s22 phone battery only lasts 4 hours returned the phone and ask that I can upgrade directly at shop. Seems like they booked a repair bit was told the s22 batteries doesn't last long and wanted another phone because it was booked as repair not cancellation. They put me through to retentions spending half a day waiting for a call to be answer then the phone drops. I am ready to cancel my contract. But you need to talk to retentions to cancel it. I rather stop my stop order and wait for them to contact me because this is so unacceptable.

I'm also struggling to cancel my contract and the reception on their support line is so terrible I can't even hear the consultant. Why does it have to be so difficult?!?!
